In times like these

Now more than ever we need art. An article posted on CNN's website talks about people who are creating art as a means to help them process or cope with what they are feeling. When we look back we can see the emotions felt and the struggles faced through the art of that time. Creating art, whether it's a painting, poem, or a song, lets everybody know that you're not broken and that you won't stay silent.

I know this is a very difficult time for everybody right now, you might be angry and outraged, but I want to remind you in times like these all we have is each other. The article talks about how certain artists of pieces dedicated to George Floyd, are feeling. Feed up, disgust and sad seems to sum up what most were feeling, and if you look at the art you can see and feel the emotion in each piece.

  1. Yes, it's a very sad moment in history. No one should be treated this way!
